My ear piercing is swelling up, I just gauged it...?

I gauged my left ear to 12g a while ago, and i got my right ear pierced at a 14g about 2 months ago. It was healed up and all, so


Yesterday i gauged it with a 12g earring. It was hurting when I woke up, and now its swollen up at the area where the hole is, and hurts





with my other ear this never happened, so is this bad?


or what should I do?

I agree with doing a sea salt solution. Tea tree oil is good too. I use bactrum solution on my piercing, u can get it at the drugstore.

use some peroixde to clean it well.


if you can stand pain, you can use alcohol.


i used them both.


the alcohol burns for a little while, but goes away.


mine are still healing from thursday night.
Reply:You need to use tapers. That's why it's so sore - you just shoved a bigger size in (which is not what you're supposed to do).





Either leave it alone %26amp; do sea salts; or downsize if you hope to stretch it bigger in the future.
