How much would it cost for an engine swap?
i Have a 1999 Nissan Altima Se, and i would like to swap it with a Nissan Skyline JDM RB20DET Engine with RWD 5Spd Transmission
How much would it cost for an engine swap?
Won't work several reasons the skyline is rear wheel drive the altima engine compartment is very short so the inline 6 Cyl motor will not fit and there is the problem of no rear axles. and manual trans drive tunnel on the altima is not there. Can you can put a drive shaft thru a gas tank? Get a S-14 240SX like a 1995 or 1996 to do that conversion.
Reply:For the cost you may as well buy a new car, why would you want an RB20 anyways? The RB26 is so much better. Either way if I was you I'd set my sights a bit lower, like maybe a FWD SR20DE/SR20DET (dunno if the later is possible) setup using a Nissan Sentra 5 speed (used with the SR20DE).

The other day in my garden i found a smal white kitten . It has no mother/siblings-abandoned.
I need to know how to feed it, what to feed it and anything else.
I have had kittens before but that time the mother looked after them.
I have 5 older cats in my garden, 4 of them bros and sis + 1 mother. The mother wont feed the kitten/she attacks it sometimes. All cats scared of it.
This cat is a little sick i thik, it cant squek meow properly like yestterday. I've only had for 2 days now. Hastn eaten till just now i fed a bit of cat can food and dilute powder milk.

Take the cat to the vet to see of its okay first before you let it go with your other cats.
Reply:How old is the kitten? Try going to the store and getting powdered baby milk (human). I did this with a rabbit and it worked for a long time, but it was internally bleeding from a cat..... Try to keep it warm and when it has stronger teeth, try feeding it a little hard food. You had kittens before, do what the mom did as best as you can! Teach it how to live! Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reply:You could go to pet smart or some kind of pet store and get some of that milk replacement for kittens and a kitten bottle. How old is he/she? If she is old enough to walk and run around than you could probably mix some dry food/wet kitten food and the replacement milk and give that to her so she will get good nutrition she needs. There are over the counter milk replacements you can buy, I am not sure where you live...but you can go to a feed store. A good brand is KMR. On the label it should have feeding recommendations. You can use a bottle or syringe. Most people say it's easier with a syringe. Also you will need to take a warm wash cloth and wipe it on its bottom to stimulate mothers grooming, so it can eliminate it's body waste. You will need to keep this kitty warm, and feed it every two hours at least. It is best if you can take it with you when you go somewhere. There are rumors that a hand fed kitty is the most loving and affectionate kitty ever. I have seen this and seen the opposite. Best of luck! If you can't care for it, then take it to a vet, there will likely be a vet tech or someone who will be moved to take her. Hope it all works out.

My 2005 Ford Five Hundred does not blow cold a/c when stopped, it only blows cold when I get the RPMs up.?
We took it to a mechanic and he flushed the coolant and refilled and it still seems to do the same thing. The pressure continues to raise above where it needs to be. The mechanic says it may be the compressor but not sure and says it will cost over $1000. and it may not even work???? HELP!!!

I have a 98 neon i drove it from work this morning went to start it this afternonn wouldnt start it makes?

yes it could be a starter gone bad,sometimes they wont give no warning at all they just go out,check the battery connections real good on it though,its possible one of them isn't making a good connection or the wire that goes to the starter has vibrated loose,that does happen on those cars sometimes,it could also be the solenoid on the stater gone bad,if that's the case though just replace the whole starter ,because if the solenoid is bad,the starter wont last very much longer either,good luck with finding it.

If there is try cleaning that off. Take the cables loose from the battery, clean the posts real well and then clean the clamps that connect the cables to the battery. If that doesnt work try getting someone to jump it. If that doesnt work then you might want to check out the starter.
Reply:#1 remove the battery terminals, get a battery brush at store, clean terminals and posts till they shine. NEVER replace any part till you know the problem.

What does it mean when you get "shocked" in a dreaM?
Do you mean that feeling you get when you fall down in a dream?
If so, it's your heart stopping. Your body wakes you up so it can start again. It's nothing to worry about I think. I make my heart do it all the time. I like the feeling.
The best is dreaming you're being executed by lethal injection. You can feel your breathing stop and your heart slowing down. Truly one of the more painful experiences I can remember.

How do you know if it's dangerous to mix certain medications?
I've searched google, but I'm having trouble finding anything. I'm prescribed a few very strong medications and though I have been warned off a few, I don't have like a list of medications that if you mix them, it could be dangerous. I know I could call my doctor and ask, but that's a pain in the *** if there's a way I can simply look it up online.

Get the names and doses of your meds together and call the pharmacist, or any pharmacist. Ask them. They're easier to get on the phone than a Doc.

Not to say you are, but if they are someone else's that you have too, do the same, no one is going to harass you about information. As far as websites go, I really would take a professionals advice, because if the off chance that there is a serious problem a website won't help you. Talk to someone who gets paid to answer medication questions, it isn't that hard.

As we grow in adulthood, we take on more responsibilities and end up "scaling down" a lot of things we would like to do, maybe doing them on a smaller scale for financial reasons or lack of time. You may find yourself playing video games instead of actually going out and playing soccer with your friends. You sell your motorcycle and end up envying the people you see still riding theirs on the highway.

I really like a band,but they're sorta a "black" band as in emo looking band. EX:MCR. I'm planning on buying a band shirt of theirs. I am the kinda girl who wears pink and skirts to school with braids in her hair. If I bought this shirt(black with logo and name and pic on it) and wore it with black leggings a skirt or skinny jeans, and some other black-ish tihngs,would they think I'm going emo? I really don't wanna give that effect.

My cat's tail is broken, Can it be fixed?
My other cat had the same problem but we had to amputate it. It was broken on several different parts, but my other cat only has one part that is bent. Can it be fixed by a vet and not repaired? We just don't have the money.. that is $500.

I also notice a sick feeling when I drink booze, and I know what drunk feels like and hung over and "had too much to drink" its after one beer. and also it only lasts for about 30 mins. Anyways I've gone to the doctor about it and they took blood and everything but never got back to me which i am told means there was nothing wrong. This is really starting to make me mad. its lasted for about a week in the daytime, before that it was only at night i would wake up and not be able to even lie down. If I lie down i get dizzy and hot and feel like I'm going to vomit. all of the night sickness was over the course of a few months and never every night. now this day sick has started and i am at the end of my rope. this is affecting me being at work and my social life and just in general enjoying hanging around without feeling like I might die at any second. please if someone can help me.

You could have food/drink intolerances that get worse with age. Don't know if you believe in alternative medicine but see a naturopath or homeopath in your area. They may be able to help bring the body back in balance.

I would have your doctor check you for pancreatitis and then check your liver and kidneys and well. The only other thing that seems like besides what I mentioned it could be gall stones, sounds like you are in some serious poo.
Edit: If it were me, I would head over to the health food store and buy some good quality ginger root and some digestive enzymes, it would not hurt to try and do a full body cleanse either. If you do not eliminate through the bowels regularly sometimes that causes the system to back up and go the other way. Normal healthy bowel movements should take place anywhere from 2 to 3 times a day. Just throwing more info out there since I don't know all the details, but the dizzyness, spinning, and throwing up seriously sounds like pancreatitis, which messes up the ability to digest foods. I will pray for you. Take some digestive enzymes at least though as I suggested, get plenty of rest, and stick to trying to eat soft foods such as applesauce, bananas, also if you can get some papaya and smush it in a food processor or blender, and as crazy as it sounds, organic baby food. Ok, the coolant is basically brown. Chocolate Milkshake colour, there is definately oil getting into the system, but the oil is perfect. I mean really perfect. Black and smooth as anything. And i've run the car in after a fresh oil change and water change, the water turns the same. Now it could mean that the previous owner has poured oil into the coolant bottle, but after cleaning it out (as best as possible) alot of oil is still mixing with water. Now i know alot of oil would have stuck to the radiator, and with the heat, freed up and re-mixed with the fresh coolant. The oil remains perfect though?
I am the new owner, and unable to find out what exactly has happened in the past, (nobody is gonna admit to pouring oil into the wrong hole)... I dont think its that simple though. There is no smoke, and engine is running at constant normal temperature. It's booked into the garage for this bank holiday monday.. Would appreciate your input =)

You bought a a car with bad engine condition. You are right, it could be the head gasket. But first, did you do a total overhaul of the radiator, that is removing it and totally cleaning it? If so, then try tightening the screw of the head block. Set it about 90 lbs using a torque wrench. If the bolt is tight, then replace your gasket. Do a top overhaul. The oil pressure is higher than the water pressure so there is no water in the oil but oil in the water.
Reply:If your oil is clean, and leaking into the radiator, it would be going lower on the dipstick. It could be a gasket, a bad radiator, or, if you bought it that way, some coolant additive to stop an existing coolant leak. If you are sure it is oil, it would not be all brown, but floating atop the coolant for, the oil is lighter. It would be separated not mixed all brown.
If you are not using oil, you should flush the radiator and cooling system REAL GOOD, then fill it with water and use a pressure tester to search for leaks. (with the heater control to hot so circulation goes through the heater core), If you find no leaks(check the interior floor under dash at heater core housing too) and the engine has been performing properly and no oil used or contamination, run it to temp, drain and flush, refill, run engine to temp, repeat until it drains clear with no discoloration. Then fill with antifreeze mix. If you are going through oil, it is more than a retard dumping oil in your coolant.

On the intake stroke, the valve is open letting air and gas in, so the vacuum isn't that great at the head gasket area. However, when the combustion occurs, there is tremendous pressure built up in the cylinder, and it will find any small leak to escape.
A simple pressure test at the radiator cap will determine if the coolant system in under too much pressure.

I LOVED it and thought it to be just as awesome as the original movies. But I was very worried because only half of the theater was full. It was the latest showing at 10:10pm but I still think it strange there were so few people.

she hates all the sprits,beers... and i am a responcible drinker.. love 2 drink on the weekends with my mates..n never been out of control...n i do give her her share of time .. but she comes from a family where no body drinks ..so she has a perception that 1 day i'll become an alcoholic n probably finish my life of drinking alcohol..n will rewin our relationship.. what should i do? she is becoming serious abt it day by day..she is not realising that she is the 1 rewing the relationship by taking it 2 seriously ..n it will b really stupid of me to quit it as i dink just pints of beer on the weekends..

What can it lead to if a patient has not opened her bowel for 7 days? What does that indicate? Will that lead to vomiting?

When a person is put under anesthesia the bowel is the slowest to "wake up". The involuntary movement inside the bowels keeps food moving through. If they aren't moving, everything will get backed up. Possibly causing an ileus, which can lead to many more serious problems. This is why you are encouraged to walk after surgery, it helps. And why nurses are always interested in your flatulence. ;)

Considering the U.S. economy currently, would it be wise to invest in forclosure properties thru auctions now?
I'm trying to decide if it's wise to take a course that's been offered to me. It deals with investing very small amounts of money on forclosure properties in the U.S. thru auctions and how to choose properties that you can buy and sell with a turnaround time of 15days, provided you do your homework. I've heard Donald Trump and many other talk about this and they were all scams one way or another. The course costs $4000, and is a two year program, which you earn a certificate if you graduate. Or you pay $500 to hold a spot, $500 to get books and material, then $200monthly for 24 months. That's a huge expense in my eyes and I'd rather spend that going back to college to attain my electricians license, which will also be a two year program. Thing is timing is everything, and if this course is an opportunity to financial independence on a part time basis, it would be a bad decision not to enroll? Anybody have any advice?

I'm going into my second year of Nursing. With my first year of Nursing, it was boring as hell. My year was the first time first year nursing students got placed into a long term care facility, so we had a lot of hands on experience dealing directly with the elderly with minimal supervision from my clinical instructor. (I'm in school in Canada, so it might be differerent depending on where you are.)
I gave up a lot of my social life, worked a lot less had no money and got rid of my cell phone and basically was poor for 8 months. You have to go out enjoy yourself once in a while, but you have to, and must keep on top of your work. It's very easy to fall behind, but once you do it's hard to get back on top again. Don't buy all your books before class, some books you don't even need despite what teachers say. I have a few I never even used, and I'm pissed about it. Waste of 600+ bucks. (Teachers get a cut of some text books. Interesting.)
It's good to make study groups so the readings are smaller for you. It's all about team work as well, so don't alienate anyone and not share work with people if they're willing to help you out. It'll hurt you in the long run and people will remember you for this. You won't get a job as a Nurse for four years, so don't look at your peers as your competitors.
Do your readings right away, and be careful who you hang around with. Some people just use you for your notes to photocopy and never show up to class. Be close with your teachers, they can be used as references during the summer months to work in some health care settings. They'll help you out if you need it, and they're great resources.
I never really wanted to give up when I knew things were getting heavy. I just drank more coffee. They make the program heavy to weed people out who can't take the heat and the stress. If you can't handle it, it's probably not the right program for you. Just know at the end it'll all be worthwhile, and you'll be self sufficient with a rewarding career.

Now both of us enjoy casual comments about any good looking person who passes our way.
If you don't trust the guy and is uncomfortable with the whole set up, try to move on and find someone you can.
If you trust him and it's just this habit that's annoying you, learn to ignore it. He may dislike some habits of yours too. Afterall, nobody is perfect.

Well, I personally dont think there is anything wrong in looking at anybody if there is trust in the relationship.
I went through the same, but instead of being angry with him, started commenting on how gorgeous a guy was when a truly handsome young man passed my way. He was startled, but I said "What Aishwarya Rai is to you is what Hrithik Roshan is to us. So we're even." He laughed about it.
Now both of us enjoy casual comments about any good looking person who passes our way.
If you don't trust the guy and is uncomfortable with the whole set up, try to move on and find someone you can.
If you trust him and it's just this habit that's annoying you, learn to ignore it. He may dislike some habits of yours too. Afterall, nobody is perfect.
