i have a 3 year old boxer ***** and i was wondering how much it would cost to get her done is there a set price like you get for cats or do they do it by her weight and the amount of anastetic she has to have she is medium size about 4 stone
How much would it cost to get my dog spayed?
£50 to £85.
Reply:There is no set answer for you. Here in the US, a dog that size would cost between $200 and $700 US, depending on where you live. Rural communities generally have lower vet costs than urban areas.
The best way to find a price is to call several vets in your area and ask. They don't mind telling you.
Reply:It depends upon the vet, so you will have to phone your vet and ask, some vets are cheaper than others because they want to make spaying affordable to encourage people to spay. I would look in your local yellow pages and see if any vets state they offer affordable or reduced cost spaying to all owners.
Reply:Depends where you live, I live in Surrey, I had my youngest German Shepherd done last year, she was 18 months old and would have weighed about the same, perhaps slightly less, it cost me £250.23p! that included everything, Anaesthetic, analgesics post op, anti-biotics etc %26amp; removal of sutures.
Reply:by weight
get out the phone book and start calling around,,,
here in massachusetts it is anywhere from 350 - 700 dollars
Reply:I think they do it by weight.
we had our Weim done when she was 7 months old and the total cost was £147.00. I think it also depends on where you live. We live in Manchester UK.
Reply:Like most have already said, it depends where you live. I live in Yorkshire UK and had my Dogue de Bordeaux neutered at 6 months old, it cost £90.00 which is approximately $180.00, I was surprised as I'd assumed the dogs weight reflected in the price but my vets have a set neutering/spaying price.
Reply:Vets tell you its more when they get heavier, but I have done both heavy and younger didn't see much difference. about 145.00 Michigan, USA Check around there are clinics that do it free if you qualify.
