How annoying is it when people don't vote for the best answer?

Is it just me, or does everyone else get really annoyed when people are just ignorent and dont choose the best answer? I always give detailed information, and 2 weeks later they havent voted for the best answer- is it just me?

Just go back and vote for your own... plain and simple.
Reply:Nah not really annoyed. Sometimes they don't know how it works. Or they didn't like any of the answers.





Now pick mine as best answer right now. LOL

Reply:Some folks seem to ask questions and never return to read the answers..They are waisting everyone elses time....Give me 'Best Answer " on this.

Reply:It does annoy me, too. It annoys me even more when somebody asks "How do I choose a best answer to a question I asked?" and then they don't even bother in picking a best answer.





When the asker doesn't choose a best answer, I get the feeling that he/she doesn't care about my answer, that I was just wasting my time answering the question in the first place.
Reply:Yes, it's sad that common courtesy isn't very common anymore. They ask for help and never say "thank you."





I always try to choose the best answer because I appreciate that people took the time to answer my question. I don't like people cutting and pasting from Wikipedia. I could look in Wikipedia myself if that was all I wanted.
Reply:It's totally annoying! I have gone back and voted for my own answer before, though. I've done it for my contacts, too, if I can remember what answers were theirs.
Reply:I hate that too, just today I got2 best answers from voters because the asker didn't bother with choosing one. I don;t know why people bother asking questions if they could care less about the answer.
