Reply:It bugs me, especially when I'm wearing something that I already intend to change for something more appropriate and she "asks" me if that is what I'm going to wear.





Now, my lady really isn't manipulative, most of the time and I think she really thinks that prompting me by asking something like that is a much nicer way of telling me something, but it bugs me a lot more than I think I would be if she had just been more direct.
Reply:No - my BF does this all the time and so I'm used to it now. He doesn't really tell me WHAT to wear, more like what he doesn't like me wearing (especially when I go out with my friends) - I think he is just protective and doesn't like it when other guys stare and stuff. It's sweet really.
Reply:I like it when my partner says she likes me in certain things and say askes if I would wear a certain outfit when we are going out because she thinks I look great in it, but is she said it alot I would get a bit insulted, especially if she started saying she hated stuff i had...
Reply:Personally I think he would choose something conservative to make sure that I didnt have anyone looking at me, not that my dress sense is especially outrageous or anything, I wouldnt trust him to choose something that i look nice in though!
Reply:I do like it when my boyfriend takes an interest in what im wearin and i love suggestions but i dont like him or anyone for that matter telling me what i have to wear i have my own style and yes it can b insulting
Reply:I dont like it if he tells me what to wear coz i dont like feeling of being told what to do, if he suggested that i wear a certain colour or top then that would be fine.

Reply:I wear what i want to wear. Sometimes i ask his opinion but we normally have the same opinion on clothes and if i like something and he dont, well tough! lol
Reply:i don't mind if he suggests to me what to wear but not say I HAVE to wear whatever.. I don't find it insulting to my self image though.
