Just another random rhyme... anyone think it's any good?

I can't stop dropping poetry

show a piece of my inner lyrical beast

when an opinion or two is unleashed

working on serving a few spiritual feasts

my name got hot, and i started sensing haters

at the same time those who caught the vapors

since i was battle-rapping myself and all takers

a reader told me i had lost my first battle

my opponent claimed it was "pre-written"

had me thinking, repect for the rhyme wasn't hidden

i wrote an insulting short story's worth of bull-shiddin

i noted, afterwards; for sure, it was nothing but word-play

then, i get internet threats like sombody wants to hurt me

so now i harass the poetry section with rebellious rhymes...

honestly, not thinking the petty hip-hop section was worthy

so, i wrote for a few the fans that paid attention

chased by damaged pride of hip-hop henchmen

thanks, for welcoming me back... i thought i'd mention

doing the same, for those who spent time reading

playing with words, having fun

that's the reason i come back

Just another random rhyme... anyone think it's any good?
i like the obscurity of your rhyme. entertaining.
Reply:That is very good. Have a star.
Reply:Actually, I think you have terrific potential. Keep track of your rhythm, though. To gain respect as a Poet, this is crucial. The respect for the Art of Communication is dismally lacking of late, so I'm pleased you have a grasp of what's at stake. Read the poets of the 'beat' generation: Bukowski, Ferlinghetti, Ciardi, ee Cummings, not for content, necessarily, but as a primer for the meter %26amp; the rhythm. Without meter %26amp; rhythm, it's just prose, after all. And if it has no point or conclusion, then it's just rambling. You've got skill here - try haiku!
Reply:Because I'm so into classic poetic form and content, I find your stream-of-consciousness poetry a relief--like taking a dip in a cool lake on a hot day. I enjoy the unbridled flow of words, especially when there are no obscenities involved. (Sorry, but I'm a bit old-fashioned).
Reply:A nice flow to your words. That aint bull-shidden! Like that word.
