Considering the U.S. economy currently, would it be wise to invest in forclosure properties thru auctions now?

I'm trying to decide if it's wise to take a course that's been offered to me. It deals with investing very small amounts of money on forclosure properties in the U.S. thru auctions and how to choose properties that you can buy and sell with a turnaround time of 15days, provided you do your homework. I've heard Donald Trump and many other talk about this and they were all scams one way or another. The course costs $4000, and is a two year program, which you earn a certificate if you graduate. Or you pay $500 to hold a spot, $500 to get books and material, then $200monthly for 24 months. That's a huge expense in my eyes and I'd rather spend that going back to college to attain my electricians license, which will also be a two year program. Thing is timing is everything, and if this course is an opportunity to financial independence on a part time basis, it would be a bad decision not to enroll? Anybody have any advice?

Wow! What a scam. I became an attorney for a total tuition expense of $9,000.00 by going to a state university and I could have completed the program in 2.5 years.
Reply:NO DON'T DO IT. You can learn about foreclosures and investing in properties in places that are free or very low cost.

Libraries, book stores, and simply asking around to people in the real estate business are the best sources for information. You don't have to pay alot of money. Save that money to invest in one of the houses.

I invest in properties right now and I didn't pay for a single program or class. I read, alot, and asked plenty of questions to anyone that I could. Realtors, brokers, mortgage lenders, etc.

I emplore you not to get caught in a ridiculous program when you can learn on your own for free.
