Is it unlady like to wear unpadded bras in the workplace?

I work in a place where it's cool to wear jeans, open toed sandals, anything "unoffensive". However, I am a woman who does not like to wear padded bras and am sometimes uncomfortable when men (and women) stare because my nipples are protruding!! Im not exceptionally large, 36c is an average size and padded bras make me feel like my breasts are to my chin!! lol...advice please?

I too suffer from prominent (pointy) nipples. Try wearing a lined bra. As long as it's not a push up you shouldn't be adding that much extra cleavage.
Reply:i guess it's not un-lady like.. or whatever.. but it is kind of gross. there are some bras out there that aren't super padded and you just have to look for the right one. i really don't think you'll find a good nice fitting one ..especially one that feels nice.. at a place where bras are cheap like marshalls or ross. try going to victoria secret. they have all kinds of bras.it may be a little pricey if you think so but it's worth it. the material is nice and the pads are really comfortable. you should try the ipex bra. it's lightly padded. you should also check out department stores for some too. just make sure you look for padded bras that aren't hard and foamy. those are the worse.
Reply:I agree that it's not just unprofessional to have nipples showing it's actually rather cheap looking. Not sure where you live but go to a good higher end store and get a few good bras. Good ones will fit you properly and won't be uncomfortable. If all else fails, wear a light sweater or vest to cover up.
Reply:I don't but I don't uh..have the issue you do...some people are just more sensitive to room temp and those conditions. I'd say because you have an issue with it find a bra that is thicker to wear to work...the lined ones work well and there are also some that have the little flower cover for the nipple area to prevent this
Reply:I'm large chested (34FF... and yes, all natural) and I never wear padded bras and I wear in a pretty professional environment (business casual). Underwire yes, but not padded. I don't have any problem with mine protuding. Guess it really just depends on you.
Reply:There's a new bra out that has concealers if you're really worried. But maybe the problem isn't you???


But, keeping a sweater handy is a plan, too.
Reply:I think it's inappropriate and unprofessional for nipples to protrude at work. If you don't like padded bras then wear a thick enough blouse that they don't show or some kind of camisole.
Reply:well it deoends if your self conscience and you care what people think. but if u wear an unpadded bra and then a vest top on top you wont be able to see it.
