OK, it's that time ya'll. Gas has hit $4.00 a gallon. What are we gonna do?

I've been contemplating a $45,000 electric SUT from Phoenix Motors. Miles Corporation has a good looking electric sedan coming soon. Still gonna drive my Harley though, it gets nearly 50 mpg and is fun to drive.

OK, it's that time ya'll. Gas has hit $4.00 a gallon. What are we gonna do?
remeber this at election time, we want change, not more of the same.

Reply:I have cut way down on gas, no unnecessary trips, and carpooling is now a necessity as is public transportation and mototrcycles and bicycles.
Reply:We all need to start riding bikes more to short distances. Maybe if we started driving less gas would go down.

Bush gives millions of taxpayer's dollars to oil companies and in return they charge us $4 to $5 a gallon?

Reply:we need to all drive hybrids, and use cars less. that way we save money and are takin care of the environment! :)

Reply:well.....we are not buying gas until next Thursday and we are BOYCOTTING gas stations.... we are also walking and taking public transport whenever poss.

Reply:Yeah I have been driving way less because I have 2 jobs and need to budget enough money for the week to get to both of them. It sucks. I am working by butt off and still can't get ahead because things keep getting higher and higher! Also we are supposed to have our annual trip to chicago this summer but I don't even want to go anymore because i saw on the news gas there is 4.50 for regular! Ugh!

Reply:i don't know. it hurts everytime i go to the gas station, and i'm a student and my budget is really tight and it sucks. and my whole family drives at least 2 and a half hours so they must be feeling it worst than me. this is what happens when america messes with the middle east and if there is a war with iran gass will probably be over 200 a barrel.....ouch

Reply:For starters, I'm going to sell my Dodge Ram truck. It only gets 9-10 miles per gallon. I probably will end up with a car that sounds like an empty beer can going down the road but I don't care as long as the mileage on it is good. Maybe, something like a Yugo or a Geo---lol. Never thought I'd see the day where I'm driving some piece of crap around but I'm not going to be stupid and keep paying $4.00 + per gallon for regular fuel and not even get good gas mileage. Next time we pass someone on the road in a big SUV, we should yell and tell them to get rid of that damn gas-guzzling piece of ****. NO SUV's AND NO LARGE EXTENDED CAB TRUCKS. It's a waste that causes the rest of us to pay more.
Reply:boycott Mobil and Exxon the 2 biggest companies! and don't buy from Getty's that's Venezuela's gas! the prices will drop!
