My first class royal mail parcel was supposed to arrive yesterday and it hasnt, have they lost it-i hope not!?

I ordered a new cpu cooler on Tuesday from cclonline. They dispatched it on the same day as first class recorded delivery. It is now Thursday and i haven't got it and i have been in the house since i ordered it. Oh yeh and it is too big to fit through the letter box so i assume it will come round in a van. Thanks for any help.

It's not recorded delivery so there will be no way of tracing it, as with everything sent by Royal Mail you have to cross your fingers and hope.

Because of previous experience I started paying extra for recorded delivery. Things still got lost so I paid even more for "Special delivery." They still lose my parcels on a regular basis.

In my experience Royal Mail is a total shambles. When you try to trace lost items thet just fob you off. They have terrible customer care.

My advice, don't ever send anything you can't afford to lose via Royal Mail.
Reply:Ask CCL for the recorded number.

You can use this number to see where the package is in the system. - visit the Royal Mail website

If its to big to fit inthe letterbox, it may not come in a van. A CPU cooler will probably come on foot, but the postie will leave a card if you are out.
Reply:Contact the company - they will have a tracking number for it, sometimes you can track your item online - try logging into your account with the company and see if they have this option. It will say at depo or delivered or wherever it might currently be hiding!
Reply:I wouldn't be suprised, the Conservitives have just lost over 8,000 voters data from crew election.
Reply:Royal mail don't guarantee next day delivery on first class post, they do say allow up to 5 days.
