EWCM how long does it stick around?

Does egg-white cervical mucus disappear completely as soon as ovulation is done?

Or does it stick around a few days? Or if pregnancy occured, does some form of mucus stay instead of drying up completely? How long does EWCM last(how many days)?

I have three children, yet I have never seen or heard of EWCM. Are you sure this isn't some sort of infection?
Reply:I just wanted to say that I don't know what that lady is talking about, Its common knowledge that EWCM is a sign of ovulation. Unfortunatly, all though I am prego for the 4th time, I've never paid attention. Me and hubby don't "try", but we don't use birth control either. We plan on having as many kids as our natural sex lives will give us unitll I am 35. then I'll get my tubes tied.

So can't help with the q, but wanted to say that the other lady is wrong.
Reply:I'm sorry. That lady is cluless. Forgive her.

Usually when you are no longer in your fertile window EWCM dries up. It normally lasts 3-5 days. Our cervical mucus changes throughout the month. You are right, when it resembles egg whites we are in our fertile window. Pregnant women do experience more discharge than usual. They normally always have some sort of wetness. I swear I have had EWCM non stop since ovulation. My period is due any day and I still have it and have no sign of my period. Do you still have it too? Maybe we're both pregnant! Good luck to you and here's lots n lots of baby dust for you!!!!
