Reply:Yes, it's called spyware and/or adware and in same cases, it's a trojan virus.
Reply:That is called spywares. You can get rid of it by downloading anti- spyware programs like spybot search and destroy or Spyware Doctor.
Reply:if you have been prompt to install activex if you did then you have been taken for..their false, they install adware, next time you get prompt to install activex make sure its from the notification bar above
you will have to do a system restore to uninstall it
